Ni hao ma?  My voyage continues to meet Ru Shao Jun, the Chinese artist who is a frequent traveller in Malaysia! Catching up with Ru, he is on the midst of preparing his solo exhibition, demonstrating his famous personal techniques. His exhibition will be showing two types of painting techniques, one is concentrating on the sceneries of inner Mongolia, while the other is revolving around landscape of Malaysia. Capturing cultures and ethnics of Malaysia at large, I really can’t wait to see Ru’s upcoming exhibits!

 


As I extended my visits to galleries, I met an old friend, Zhang Zhiu! We first met at Balai Seni Lukis Negara in 2009, during the exhibition called Mosaics of Malaysia. I was really glad to have the opportunity to see him again after so many years, in his very own studio!
